Khel Kalyan

Author

Like many of us, Khel Kalyan used to be a person of two halves. On the one hand, he was deeply besotted with the world and everything in it: ambitious, image-conscious, and preoccupied with friends, status, money, and all the rest of it. At some level, though, and in fact since he was eight years old, he instinctively possessed an unbreakable trust in the universe and a certain determination to discover the reality behind the world we live in.

The latter part of him, however, remained unfulfilled despite his forays into philosophy, science, and religion. At least, this was the case until he came under the spell of a profound sadness, which led to his turning away from his hedonistic, acquisitive lifestyle and discovering Indian mysticism with the help of a few noteworthy Teachers.

With their guidance, he made a surprising discovery: mysticism is a process of unlearning. Enlightenment requires the seeker to
discard religious myths, societal traditions, and what we imagine God to be. Instead, spiritual growth rests entirely on finding the silence of our own Beings.Today, he spends his time sharing his unique vision of the Pathless Path to bliss with others, encapsulated in the title of his book: "Don't Meditate - Just Be". Instead of espousing some dogma or technique, his approach rests on purposeless simplicity.
