A daily meditation practice will bring about a peaceful experience, but to break the spell of the thinking mind entirely will require a more purging and intense approach, so that you can unveil the curtain of maya and awaken from the dream we call 'life'!
Be prepared to open your heart, be receptive to change a few things, but ultimately never lose sight that what lies beneath all the effort and sacrifice is unimaginable bliss. However long it takes for you to perfect your Awareness, keep at it. Don’t give up, the reward is beyond anything this world can ever give you. A diehard seeker is a rarity to find these days, despite the surge of seekers today.

​You are diving deep into an ocean of pure ecstatic love, the love that you have been seeking for many, many lives. Make this your last life, make this life the one that counts.
Waking up is only a matter of seeing, observing this very moment. Wherever you are is the perfect opportunity to drop the mind and see through Awareness. Look at the world with open eyes, as you begin to watch from a place of deep silence within you. Typically, when we look at the world, there is always a ‘looker’ that is present. The looker is the ego. Drop the looker. The looking itself will remain. Observe without the observer, see without the seer, listen without the listener, eat without the eater, walk without the walker. This will enable the witnessing experience within you. As your looking is established, your body will tune in and simulate total stillness.

The most important truth about sadness is that it does not exist. You are the author of your own sadness. It is not a real injury or problem. It is a self-created malady.
Whether it is happiness or sadness, the emotional state that we are experiencing is completely our own creation. But this truth must become a reality within you, only then can you overcome your sadness. If you are in state of prolonged grief, begin by accepting it, then move towards confessing it, and then ultimately begin to observe that you are creating it. When you begin to realise that your sadness is self-created, then you know that you can un-create it, and thus create an alternative reality.
Sadness is always accepted as karma or destiny. It is always seen as something you have no control over, as if it is happening because of a divine plan beyond your ability. This habit deflects the responsibility and authority elsewhere. You blame society, you accuse God, fate and so on. As soon as you rid the idea your sadness is anyone’s fault but yours, you gain power over your emotions.
As soon as you bring Awareness to whatever the mind creates, the problem vanishes. Begin by slowly meditating on your sadness and accepting it. Open your heart to your pain. The realisation that you are the author, the God of your destiny will begin to raise you above the emotional state, because you will now realise that you have the power within you to orchestrate how you feel.
